Berlin - Reichstag

In 1933 the Reichstag, the pride of Germany and the German National Pariament, were put on fire and during world war II bombs destroyed the rest of the building. In 1996 the artist Christo wrapped up the entire Reichstag building and architect Norman Foster turned it back into the great building it once was, including the beautiful dome of glass on the roof.
