 On a hill close to Kharkhorin there is a huge monument (especially for Mongolia) which reminds the people of the empire of Genghis Khan. When you walk around the monument clockwise you'll see the expansion of the empire of Genghis.
 Op een heuvel nabij Kharkhorin staat een gigantisch (zeker voor Mongoolse begrippen) monument ter nagedachtenis aan het rijk van Genghis Khan. Loop je kloksgewijs rond het monument dan zie je op verschillende afbeeldingen het rijk van Genghis steeds groter worden.
