 There is a multitude of flowers all over Amsterdam, especially in spring time. You can find the floating flower market cose to the Dam square, but there are also flowers sold here on the Nieuwmarkt (new market). In the background you see the Waag-building, one of the former city gates, still in a very good shape.
 Bloemen zijn in heel Amsterdam in overvloed te vinden, vooral in het voorjaar. Zo is er een drijvende bloemenmarkt in de buurt van de dam, maar ook hier op de Nieuwmarkt zijn op de markt bloemen te koop. Op de achtergrond zien we hier De Waag, één van de voormalige stadspoorten, nog steeds een prachtig gebouw.
