 The Cruz del Condor is the place in the Colca Valley where the condors can be seen every morning. They use the thermics to circle to a higher point, searching for food. When they can't find their food in this area they go all the way to the ocean to get it there. The best time for spotting condors is around 9 a.m., so that's why it's so crowded around the Cruz del Condor every day at this time.
