Behind the Golden Gate, in the Royal Palace in Bhaktapur, non-Hindus can only watch the Naga Pokhari from a close distance. This is the Royal watertank, with a goat in the mouth of a crocodile-demon spraying water for the daily washing ritual of the Goddess Taleju.
In het Koninklijk Paleis van Bhaktapur, achter de Gouden Poort, kun je als niet-Hindu alleen de Naga Pokhari van dichtbij bekijken. Dit is de Koninklijke Wateropslag, waar uit de mond van een geit, die weer in de mond van een Krokodil-demoon zit, water stroomt voor de dagelijkse wasbeurt van de Godin Taleju.
