Road quality, more specifically quality of the highways, in Belgium is not impressive. Quantity and maintenance of parking areas along those highways is not at all satisfying as well. Belgium wishes to improve things, thus they'll introduce a toll vignet for cars and payment per kilometer from 2013.
De kwaliteit van de wegen, en met name de snelwegen, in België is niet al te best. Ook de hoeveelheid en de staat van onderhoud van de parkeerplaatsen naast die snelwegen laat veel te wensen over. België wil dit graag verbeteren en voert daarom vanaf 2013 een tolvignet voor auto's en betalen per kilometer voor vrachtverkeer in.

Like anywhere in Europe there are plenty possibilities for spending the night in Belgium, but prices are relatively high. Camping or staying in hostels offer a cheaper alternative.
Zoals overal in West-Europa zijn er voldoende overnachtingsmogelijkheden in België, maar is de prijs vrij hoog. Kamperen of slapen in hostels zijn een goedkoper alternatief.

Belgium is a small country, in which you can see a lot in just a short time. Most of the attractions are in Flanders. The division of the country in a Flamish and French part have been leading to discussion and dissatisfaction for almost two centuries. now
België is een klein land, waar je in een korte tijd veel kunt zien. De meeste bezienswaardigheden liggen in Vlaanderen. De splitsing van het land in een Vlaams- en een Franssprekend deel leidt in België nu al bijna twee eeuwen tot discussie en onvrede.
> Highlights
Belgium has a lot to offer: wonderful nature in the Ardennes for example, the Northsea-beach Belgium in the West and lots of culture in the beautiful cities.At Graslei Ghent and Korenlei in Ghent ancient warehouses are situated along the canals. Bruges also has some centuries old monuments, like the St-Johns hospital and the Beguinage. In Antwerp you need to visit the vast port area and old docks, but definately don't forget the Grote Markt and the Central Station. The Atomium on itself is worth a visit to Brussels, but the Grote Markt of this capital is impressive as well. We were hugely disappointed by the famous Petit Juliën, truely unimpressive actually.
België heeft veel te bieden: prachtige natuur in bijvoorbeeld de Ardennen, het Noordzee-strand België in het Westen en een boel cultuur in de mooie steden.
Aan de Graslei Gent en Korenlei van Gent staan eeuwenoude pakhuizen aan het water. Ook Brugge heeft eeuwenoude monumenten, zoals het Sint-Janshospitaal en het Begijnhof. In Antwerpen moet je absoluut de uitgestrekte havens en oude dokken gezien hebben, maar vergeet de Grote Markt en het Centraal Station ook zeker niet. Het Atomium is op zichzelf al een bezoek aan Brussel waard, maar ook de Grote Markt van deze hoofdstad is indrukwekkend. Een enorme tegenvaller was voor ons het beroemde Manneken Pis, werkelijk niks bijzonders eigenlijk.
